Chinese leading IC design and IP provider VeriSilicon (芯原) won the Employer Company of the Year Award along with other nine companies at the 2023 China Semiconductor Investment Alliance (CSIA) Annual Meeting & China IC Top Award Ceremony held on December 17 in Hefei, eastern China's Anhui Province.

The 10 firms winning this award this year include TCL CSOT (TCL华星光电), Rockchip (瑞芯微) and Cellwise (赛微电子).

VeriSilicon values employees' career development and is committed to providing competitive salaries and welfare. Founded in 2001, Shanghai-headquartered VeriSilicon was listed in August this year on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It has seven design and R&D centers in China and the US, and 11 sales and customer support offices worldwide.

The company has more than 1,200 employees with over 1,100 R&D personnel. More than 80% of the engineers have a master's degree or above, and 30% of the employees have over 10 years of service. The voluntary staff turnover rate in 2021 is just 7.4%, far lower than the average level of 18.2% in first- and second-tier cities in the industry.

The Employer Company of the Year Award aims to discover and honor companies that have outstanding performance in brand, corporate culture, human resource management, and employee care and development.
