Chinese quantum dot display materials manufacturer Mesolight raises new funding to upgrade its technology

Mesolight (苏州星烁纳米科技), a Chinese quantum dot display company, announced recently the completion of a new round of financing to mass-produce and upgrade its products.  

No exact amount of the new funding in tens of millions of yuan is revealed. Suzhou Oriza Holdings, Beijing High-tech Venture Capital, and two other venture capital companies are the investors.  

The company said that it will use the new funds for mass production of the innovative products with high-quality quantum dot display materials, and to continue to increase R&D input and upgrade the quantum dot display technology.

Established in 2012 and based in eastern China's Suzhou, Mesolightis focuses on quantum dot structure design and preparation, quantum dot enhancement film (QDEF), quantum dot color converter (QDCC), quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) and biomedical marking, and nanosilver solution. Mesolight was listed as one of the top 20 new display companies in Suzhou by the Suzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology in 2021.

The company has 3,000 square meters of R&D and production site, a production line with a capacity of 100 kilograms of quantum dots materials per year, a Class 1000 cleanroom, a high-resolution inkjet printer, and complete analysis and testing equipment. Its products and applications have been recognized by hundreds of universities, research institutions, and leading companies in the display industry worldwide. The company also established strategic partnerships with well-known display panel manufacturers.
