In the mist of the ongoing chip shortage, many chip manufacturers like TSMC have decided to increase semiconductor quotes. Besides, wafer buyers are looking at long-term deals and non-cancellable orders in exchange for secured wafer capacity. As wafer foundries now pose more bargaining power, would they bring unforeseeable risks or opportunities to the industry?
