近日，《BusinessKorea》等韩国媒体发布报道，“引用”中芯国际董事长周子学博士在韩国参会时对EUV（极紫外光刻机）事宜的表态。
文章称，周子学在会上表示，目前中芯国际正在处理有关EUV事宜的 “书面工作”，而该公司先进工艺的研发进展一切顺利。同时他指出，“中芯国际的研发和生产一直以来都循着正确的路线，和客户以及设备供应商之间没有任何问题。”
对此，今（10）日，中芯国际官方正式表态：
中芯国际对此郑重声明，此类报道违背事实，纯属捏造。周董事长仅参加了本月“中韩工商领袖和前高官对话”内部会议环节，期间并未接受任何媒体采访，在发言中也从未提及EUV事宜。
对于杜撰及传播谣言的媒体和个人，公司表示强烈谴责，将保留诉诸法律追责的权利。

Statement From SMIC On False Reporting of Some Korean Media On EUV
In recent days, some Korean media, suchas Business Korea, published various false news reports quoting the views ofDr. Zhou Zixue, Chairman of SMIC, on Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUV)equipment when he attended a meeting in Korea. SMIC hereby solemnly declaresthat such news reports are false and fabricated. Dr. Zhou has merely attendedan internal session of the 2nd China-Korea CEO and Former Senior Officials’ Dialogue early this month. Throughout his stay in Korea, Dr. Zhou did not accept any mediainterview or make any remarks concerning EUV equipment.
SMIC strongly condemns the media andindividuals who disseminate false news and rumors, and will definitely reserveall rights to take legal actions.
